His passion for innovation extends beyond AI, as he has been twice honored with Esri's Special Achievement in GIS and received the AACo Summit Award for outstanding innovation having developed a state aware, self-healing database management solution.
Before his pivotal role in public service, Aaron spent nine years in the telecommunications industry, honing his expertise and gaining valuable experience. Aaron has been driving progress as the Chief of Innovation and Emerging Technologies, demonstrating unwavering commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to transform government services.
Aaron's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a specialized focus on GIS Management, complemented by an Associate of Science in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Additionally, he is a graduate of the URISA Leadership Academy.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Aaron is deeply passionate about artificial intelligence, including machine learning, speech recognition, speech synthesis, and natural language processing. He also embraces creative endeavors such as 3D printing and small-scale robotics in his quest to explore and push the boundaries of technology.
