Summary

The 2028 Olympics will require cities to become smarter and more digital, introducing new ways of thinking and planning that emphasize digital ethics and a digital mindset. This shift will require cities to carefully consider the implementation of technology and its impact on the residents.

Ensuring privacy is paramount in this process, as it is essential to maintain the trust of citizens and create a safe and secure environment for them. Technology can be used for good, but cities must give careful consideration to the effects of its use on the lives of those living in the city. The Olympic Games should be an opportunity for cities to look to the future and find innovative ways to integrate technology in a meaningful and ethical way.
